Finding and Correcting Errors in Calculations
The way to do this, is to auditing. The first thing is, to fill the cell holding the formula generating ther error with an error code (#NAME?). Then when a cell with an erroneous formula is the active cell, an Error Button appears next to it. Next click the button down arrow to display a menu with a options that has information about the error and to help you fix it. Next if the cells, identified by the tracer arrows aren't the correct cells, you can hide the arrows and correct the formula. Then hide the tracer arrows, if you have elements of a formula error as text in a dialog box. You could use the Error Checking dialog box. For, to view the error and the formula in the cell in which the error occurs, so that you can ignore or move through the error. And to display the Evaluate Formula, is much more useful for examining formulas that don't produce an error but aren't generating the result you expect. Finally, by opening the Watch Window, it displays the new results of the formula.

Summarizing Data That Meets Specific Conditions
To create a conditional formula, you click the cell to hold the formula and open the Insert function dialog box. In the dialog box, select IF from the list of available funtions and then click OK. The Function Arguments dialog appears. The Logical_test box you want to check. Then you enclose the message in quotes in the Value_if_true or if_false box. Then in the IFERROR function enables you to display a custom error message instead of relying on the default Excel 2007 error messages to explain what happened. If function finds a match for the CustomerID, if it doesn't find a match, it displays the text Customer not found. This is what you do.

Creating Formulas to Calculate Values
By creating formulas to calculate values, you have to create a formula first. To start for a formula, you in cell content's with an equal sign. When it gets the expression and when the equal sign, type the formula. For example, =C2+C3. When you want to create a new calculation, you click on the Formula Tab, in the Function Library Group, click Insert Function. Then the Insert Function dialog box will appear on the screen, in the Insert Function dialog box. There will be list of functions, which you can choose. In that list you choose your argument, doing that the next thing is to, you put the formula by hand. Then you use the Formula AutoComplete. That is it.
Naming Groups of Data
Naming Group of Data:
How do you change the naming group of data, here is how you do it. You first, select the range or named range. Then second, you go to the Formula bar, find the Defined Names group and click on Define Name. When you already did that, a New Name dialog box appears, in the Name Field. You type what verify the cells, that you had selected in the Refers Field, when you did that you click Ok.
There is another way, go to Formulas tab, Defined Names Group and click Name Manager. Then the Name Manager dialog box appears, then you click the named range. Clicking Edit button, it will appear the Edit Name dialog box. Able to change a named range's definition. To get rid off a name by clicking Delete button, and then click OK.

Chapter 6 Working with Data and Data Tables
Finding and Replacing: Page 164-165
In Excel 2007, worksheet can be used Find and Replace dialog box. This is use for you to search for cells that contain particular values. When you want to find cells, the cell value matches the value you're searching box. Including in Find and Replace dialog box, there are Options. Options could be used to identify data that requires review using a specific format. In Finding and Replacing, can change value by hand, or select the cell and then either type a new value in the cell or in the Formula Bar. Replace and type the new value. This tools are some of the Find and Replace there are others such as, Find what field, Find All button, Find Next button, Replace with field, Replace All button, Replace button, Options button, Format button, Within list box, Search list box, Look In list box, Match case check box, Match Entire Cell Contents check box, and Close button.
Correcting and Expanding Upon Worksheet Data: Page 168-169
Checking and correcting, by using on piece of numeric data is correct, make sure you spelled right, that is spelling checker. In Excel 2007, can make a change you can remove the change, as long as the workbook isn't closed. Also, can undo and redo button. Undo button is to undo a change and Redo is to command and restore it. Including on spelling check, you could also use the Thesaurus, this is to check if your word is correct and if it does exist that word. Finally, to translate a word, from one language to another. By doing this you will have to, select the cell that contains the value you want to translate, and in review tab, in proofing group and by clicking Translate, the Research Task Pane, appears and displays controls that you can use to select the original.
Defining a Table: Page 172-174
Defining a Table in Excel 2007, is not always to list of data correctly, but it enables you to sort your worksheet data based on the values in one or more columns. To create a data table, you will have to type a series of column headears in adjacent cells and then type a row of data below the headers. Creating a table, in a exisisting data list as long as your data has a different format header row. In add data to a table, select a cell in the row immediately below the last row in the table or a cell in the column immediately, to the right of the table. Adding rows and columns to a table, this could be used by dragging the resize handle at the table's lower-right corner. Table can contain data, that you can summarize by calculating a sum or average. Adding a total row, in Excel 2007, can create a formula that can calculate the sum of the values in the rightmost table column.

Chapter 6 Entering and Revising Data
Entering and Revising Data: Page 156-159
Entering sequence can be handled by copying and pasting. But there is a easy way, just by using the AutoFill. Autofill is grab and fill handle, and extends far enough your data. FillSeries, is you can enter 2 values ia a series and use the fill handle to extend the series in your worksheet. In Excel 2007, AutoComplete, which detects when a value you're entering is similar to previously entered values. Along with that comes, Pick from Dropdown List, what this does is able to choose a value from existing values in a column. All this tool is just to enter and revise data, there are other tools, such as Copy Cells, Fill Formatting Only, Fill Without Formatting, and Fill Days, Weekdays, etc. These have in common of copying and filling in. This is entering and revising data.
Moving Data Within a Workbook: Page 160-162
This specific topic is about, moving to specific cells in lots of ways. In one of the use, is Active Cell what this does is can modify it contents. There is one use kind of way such, as the Actice Cell, that is Cell Range. This is, is to click the first cell in the range and drag the mouse pointer over the remaining cells you want to select. Copying cell contain set of column labels to a new page, that summarize the data. This is not a limited to selecting cells individually or part of a range.
The Pasting Options, this appears next to data you copy from a cell, and this use does paste another cell. In, moving data within a workbook, there are more tools, such as Use Destination Theme, Match Destination Formatting, Keep Source Formatting, Values Only, Values and Number Formatting, Values and Source Formatting, Keep Source Column Widths, and Formatting Only.
